2019 Ojude Oba Festival: Globacom To Empower 10 Families With Tricycles In Ogun

This year 2019 Ojude Oba festival will be more rewarding as GlOBACOM, one of the leading telecommunications in Nigeria promised to empower 10 families with tricycles at the edition as a means of providing economic empowerment for the families.
This was disclosed on Monday by the GLOBACOM ‘s Regional Administration Manager, Lagos/ Ogun region, Mr Olufolahan Fasheyitan during a press conference held to flag off 2019 Ojude Oba Festival at Awujale’s palace, Ijebu Ode.
According to him, on our part this year, we promise to raise the bar of the festival in value and stature, the regberegbe, the various age groups, will have mouth watering cash prizes for the most colourful and creative groups as usual while the royal banquet would be regal and classy
As you are awared, empowerment is the GLOBACOM’s essence. So we are demonstrating this with the raffle draw which is open to anybody who purchases items from our shops in Ijebuland before and during the festival.

Meanwhile, the chairman of the Ojude Oba Festival committee Otunba Fidipote of Ijebu, Otunba W.O Osinusi maintained that the annual Ojude Oba festival is a spectacular celebration of the Ijebu of south west Nigeria.
According to him, the theme of the 2019 edition is tagged ”The Unique of the Ijebu Nation”, adding that the special guest of honour for the 2019 is Sir Kensington Adebukunola, Adebutu, CON, a consummate business magnate , foremost industrialist, great philanthropist and distinguished achiever of unblemished honour.
