The youth leader of People Democratic Party (PDP) in Ogun state, Sunkanmi Oyejide popular known as Suco has staged solidarity walk for Atiku/Okowa, Adebutu/Akinlade and other PDP candidates of the party.
The solidarity walk was staged to show the readiness of youths for all the candidates of the party and welcome the presidential candidate of the party, Atiku Abubakar to the state.
The Convener, Suco highlighted the aims and objectives of the solidarity walk and disclosed how ready are youths for all PDP candidates.
“It is no longer news that the incoming President of the federal republic of Nigeria come 2023, in person of Alhaji Atiku Abubakar will be in Abeokuta for his Presidential rally .
So the Youth constituency of the party and other Youth bodies across the 20 local government in Ogun State have come together to stage a solidarity walk in support of Atiku/Okowa ticket and also in support of Ladi Adebutu/Akinlade ticket and also in support of all PDP candidate in Ogun State, that’s why we are out here today,” he said.
“With what we have done so far , across the 20 local government in Ogun State, the two constituency alone can give Atiku /Okowa ticket, Ladi Adebutu/Akinlade ticket Over 350,000 vote only the youth constituency , we have consulted widely, we have reached out to so many youths, the full soldiers are on the field they are working and spreading the Gospel of Atiku Abubakar and Ladi/Akinlade .
“The youths in Ogun State are ready to change the narrative because when you look at what is obtainable in Ogun State , you’ll see that the Ogun State standard have been lowered by Gov. Abiodun. And of course you know that when PDP was in government between 2003 to 200, Ogun State witness massive development in terms of sport, health, employment and all the sector,” he added.
“So we are returning PDP to winning ways in Ogun State. Thank God that the team is formidable more than we were in 2011 and 2015. PDP today is more formidable and we are ready to control the machinery of government in Ogun State come 2023,” he concluded.
