2025-2030 Food Security: Sen Daniel, GFF Awaken Pres, Tinubu Renewed Hope Agenda

In furtherance of its longstanding commitment to community upliftment and sustainable development, the Gateway Front Foundation (GFF), in collaboration with Senator Otunba Gbenga Daniel (OGD), proudly on Tuesday launched its 2025–2030 Food Security & Humanitarian Funding Initiative.

This ambitious five-year roll-on program aligns strategically with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, aimed at delivering impactful palliatives and critical support to the most vulnerable.

Since its inception in February 2000, the GFF has spearheaded numerous humanitarian interventions across Ogun State and the South West region, targeting health care, capacity building, economic empowerment, and educational development.

The latest initiative takes a bold leap forward with the official unveiling of the GFF Loyalty ATM Card — a smart, accessible platform created to deliver emergency and ongoing palliative support to mothers, children, widows, and low-income households.

The initiative, which officially commenced today, April 22, 2025 in Ijebu North East Local Government Area, is being piloted in four Local Government Council Areas within the Ogun East Senatorial District is a pilot that will serve as a model for full-scale implementation across all nine Local Governent Coucils in the district over time.

The Loyalty Card, fully integrated into Nigeria’s commercial banking system, allows verified members and volunteers of the GFF to access emergency funds for essential needs such as food and medication — especially in response to the subsidy removal and the prevailing economic challenges.

The GFF Loyalty Card symbolizes a deep-rooted philosophy of “Being Your Brother’s Keeper,” an ethos shared by the Gateway Movement and one that drives this humanitarian enterprise.

Speaking at the launch, Senator Gbenga Daniel, who serves as the Federal Government’s representative for Ogun East, reiterated his unwavering commitment to grassroots development and equitable access to federal palliatives. Backed by his vast network of national supporters and community stakeholders, Senator Daniel emphasized the role of technology, partnership, and transparency in ensuring the success of the initiative.

To ensure seamless access and transparency, GFF has partnered with a commercial bank and technology consultants to set up an automated backend system for intermittent fund disbursement.

Additionally, trained Gateway Movement Representatives at ward and LGA levels are available to assist beneficiaries with registration, inquiries, and card activation.

The 2025–2030 support agenda also includes ongoing GFF programs such as:
GFF Eye Care and Surgery Initiative — Delivering vital optical health services to underserved populations.

GFF Empowerment and Skill Acquisition Projects — Equipping women and youth with vocational skills and entrepreneurship opportunities.

Education Enrollment & Scholarship Assistance — Supporting school-aged children with tuition aid and educational materials.

As this new phase unfolds, the GFF calls on more Nigerians to embrace the spirit of service, collaboration, and shared responsibility.

With the support of President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda and partners across all sectors, the vision of a more inclusive and resilient Nigeria remains within reach.
