7-Month After, Federal lawmaker, Olaifa Jimoh Aremu Rolls Out Scorecard
A member of the House of Representatives, representing Egbado North/Imeko Afon Federal Constituency at the National Assembly, Abuja, Hon Olaifa Jimoh Aremu popularly called OJA has described his seven moths in office as impactful and developmental as he promised to be more accountable to his constituents.
Hon Olaifa spoke at the weekend at the extended executive committee meeting of the African Democratic Congress, ADC which took place in Ita-Oba Aiyetoro area of Ogun state.
According to him, he has within the short time spent in office draw some remarkable achievement to his constituents. These include sinking of motorised boreholes of which some are ready for commissioning; sponsorship of about 50 constituents to National Centre for Agricultural Mechanization (NCAM), Ilorin for agric. empowerment including starter packs for them; placement of our youths in Agencies for employment and educational support funding for individuals.
Similarly, Hon. Olaifa assured the audience of various projects he is facilitating of which most of them are already captured in the 2020 signed federal government budget as well as promise of Transformers in due course.
Meanwhile, the lawmaker has reinstated his support for the government of Prince Dapo Abiodun in the state. Olaifa, said though, he shared different political party with the APC led government in the state, he however stressed that himself and few other House of Assembly members of ADC extraction in the state are in cordial relationship with the state Governor in the interest of their people.
In attendance at the event were the State Secretary of the party in Ogun State, Bashorun Niyi Salako, State Woman Leader, Mrs Yemisi Adepegba, Ogun West Senatorial Chairman of the party, Prince Lanre Adu Asungbalaja, as well as member representing Imeko Afon at the state house of Assembly, Hon. Jemili Akingbade amongst others.
