OGSG Dialogue With Communities On Land Acquisition
The Ogun State Ministry of Agriculture has embarked on visitation tour to the three Senatorial Districts of the State, to sensitize the people in the area to cooperate with investors, who had been allocated land for agricultural purpose.
According to a report, signed by the Director of Planning Research and Statistics in the Ministry, Mr. Surajudeen Fashola, meeting was held with members of Oba Community within Ajebo, urging them to grant access to investors, in order to boost the State’s economy.
The report revealed that the Ministry also had discussions with members of Isomu community, to complete the crop enumeration exercise on the 200 hectares allocated to one of the investors.
It disclosed further that the two sign posts erected on Oke-Odan agricultural acquisition, was to notify the members of the community on the existence of the acquisition in the locality.
