On the occasion of today’s eld al-adha, I’d like to greet all Muslims in Ogun State and beyond. Ramadan is a glorious month when Muslims share culture, values, and stand together in supplications with love to remind the world of Islam’s unity and message.
Eld al-Adha is a wonderful time for contemplative celebrations of selflessness, compassion, perseverance, service, and righteousness. Reflecting on and practising these values is more important after Ramadan than it is during the fasting.
Ramadan and Eid al-Adha represent the transcendence of faith in uniting people all over the world under the banner of love and fraternity in relation to the supreme entity – Allah (SWT). The season’s teachings are too wonderful, and the rewards are too appealing to pass up. As a result, I ask everyone not to save Ramadan’s lessons for next year but to live towards them consistently in order to promote harmony in our community.
On behalf of my family and the Peoples Democratic Party, I would like to wish all Muslims in Ogun State a joyful and blessed Eid al-Adha and ask Allah (SWT) to grant our sincere duahs throughout the month.
