Ogun State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board has called on intending pilgrims for the year 2020 Pilgrimage to Makkah and Medina to commence initial payment as the board announced the fare for the operation.
A release signed by the Executive Secretary of the Board, Mr. AbdulHakeem Tunji Kalejaiye, indicated that intending pilgrims should make initial deposit of One Million, Two Hundred Thousand Naira (1,200,000,00) only, in not more than three instalments for the Hajj exercise, noting that the Board would adhere strictly to the guidelines for the Pilgrimage.
The release also has it that the deposit of Five Hundred Thousand Naira (N500,000: 00) only should be made for the Umrah exercise.
It enjoined all devout Muslims, who desire to participate in 2020 Hajj and Umrah exercise through the Board, to liaise with the agency’s Finance and Account Department to ascertain the mode of payments to the Banks.
