Let Us Play Our Part Towards Achieving The ‘Ise Ya’ Agenda of Gov Abiodun – Lanre Oyegbola-Sodipo

The Abeokuta North Local Government Chairmanship candidate of the APC, Hon. Lanre Oyegbola-Sodipo has charged councilorship candidates and other stakeholders of the party in Abeokuta North Local Government to join him in working towards bringing the agenda of the state governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun closer the people in the area.

Oyegbola made this known while answering questions from journalists after the screening exercise, he reiterates his commitments to carrying everyone along and working closely with the councilors who make up the legislative arm of the local government.

Oyegbola-Sodipo restated his commitment to ensuring that a robust working relationship with the legislative arm of the local government forms the core of engagement as well as carrying every stakeholder along in order to deliver good governance and transformative development in Abeokuta North Local Government.

He stated further that cooperation and harmonious working relationships amongst the elected officials of the local government would deepen the ‘Ise Ya’ development programme of the state governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun to make Abeokuta North Local Government a poster for other local government areas in the state and Nigeria as a whole.

“…I am not standing alone. I understand what it means to succeed. Success is not a one-man affair. The local government structure is a well-established  democratic structure. There are councilors who form the legislative arm. There is the executive arm led by the chairman. The councilors will carry out their responsibilities by ensuring we perform. If they play their part and I play my part, and we continue to push the ISE YA Agenda of His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun, CON, the Governor of Ogun State, definitely in one year, Abeokuta North Local Government will be  a different ball game,” he stated.
