Abiodun Offsets Medical Bills of Police Officer With Triplet In Ogun
Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun has promised to pay the medical bills of a police officer attached to the Sagamu division of the Nigeria Police Force, Adejoh Veronica who was delivered of a set of triplet last week Friday at the Olabisi Onabanjo Teaching Hospital, Sagamu, Ogun State.
The Governor who made the promise while on a facility tour of the Olabisi Onabanjo University Teaching Hospital, Sagamu, maintained that he would pay the hospital bills of the mother of six, and help reduce the burden she might have gone through as she delivered the triplet through Cesarean Section.
Abiodun who was in company of his wife, Mrs Bamidele Abiodun congratulated the woman who is an indigene of Benue State for successfully delivering the babies.
The Head of Department, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Olabisi Onabanjo University Teaching Hospital, Dr. Olusoji Jagun appreciated the good gesture of the State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun
She said the woman who was delivered through Cesarean section last week Friday had in the past delivered two set of twins and two single births.
Meanwhile, the mother of the triplets, Mrs. Adejoh Veronica thanked the State Governor for the gesture, saying that she was so elated
The Governor had in his entourage, his wife, Mrs. Bamidele Abiodun, former Deputy Governor of the State, Prince Segun Adesegun, the Head of Service, Alhaji Lanre Bisiriyu, Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Health, Dr Adesanya Ekundayo, the Chief Medical Director of the Hospital, Dr. Peter Adefuye, Chief Medical Director, Federal Medical Center, Professor Musa Olomu amongst others.
