The EFCC FC on June 19, 2019, beat Sunshine Stars FC of Akure in AITEO Cup round of 32. The match which was played at Edo University, Iyanmo, Edo State, ended 1-0 in favour of the Anti-graft agency.
EFCC FC won a penalty when a striker was brought down by the Goal Keeper of Sunshine Stars. The penalty was converted by Icha Emmanuel at 25th minute of play.
With the result, the EFCC team has qualified for the round of 16 and is billed to play ALKOSENDI FC of Nasarawa as its next opponent.
