Asiwaju Of Orile Imo Bags PCRC National Award

The Asiwaju of Orile Imo, Obafemi Owode Local Government and who is also the Adele Oloko of Orile Oko, Remo North Local Government, Ogun State, High Chief Olakunle Olalekan has been honored with a National Outstanding Award by the National Body of Police Community Relations Committee, PCRC for his exceptional contributions towards the progress of the organization.

The award was bestowed on Chief Olakunle on Monday in Abuja by the PCRC national chairman, Alhaji Farouq Maiyama, PH.D.

While presenting the award to the PCRC Patron in Ogun State, the National chairman described him as an individual with a strong passion for Community development and a great supporter of PCRC.

Alhaji Maiyama added that the award was bestowed upon him in recognition of his contributions toward the progress of the PCRC in Ogun State and at the national body.
He described him as a great philanthropist and man of integrity.

The awardee in his remarks, appreciated the organisers for the award and promised to continue supporting PCRC in the State and at the national body.

He said ” the award given to me was a great nudge to motivate me to do more for the state and Nigeria as a whole

“They deemed it fit to give me an award that I have done so well in helping to assist the police and the public. I am happy with the award and I believe God will give me the strength to do more and also hope the police will do more to reduce crime to the lowest rate possible in the state.”

“PCRC is working relentlessly to make sure that there is sustained peace in Ogun State,” adding that the Governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun is very security-conscious and that this has made him provide the police command with vehicles from time to time to enable them carry out their duties effectively” he concluded

He used the medium to commend the Commissioner of Police in Ogun State for his doggedness in combating crime and criminality, saying he has been very proactive.
