Australian citizen Suggun father donor over 60 kids. This is how it is exposed | World news

A sperm donor, who used fake names to father more than 60 children in Australia, has been exposed after new parents at a convention noticed that their children looked alike. The man, whose identity has not yet been revealed, used four different aliases to donate sperm to members of the LGBTQ+ community, The Mirror reported.

The clients of the sperm donor meet at a conference for new parents and are surprised to find similarities between their children.

To investigate the matter, the parents asked about the man from IVF clinics across Australia. Dr. Anne Clark of Sydney-based ‘Fertility First’ said the man did his services to her clinic once while she said he used informal Facebook groups for multiple sperm donations.

“We know he has gifts, holidays – all complete criminal offences. The reason he discovered it was that he was not fully Caucasian,” Dr. Clark was quoted as saying by The Mirror. As in many other countries, accepting or paying ‘donations’ for human sperm is an offense in Australia under the Human Tissue Act, with a 15-year prison term.

But informal donations are on the rise thanks to online forums like Facebook groups that connect donors and childless parents.

In the UK, where it is still illegal for sperm donors to receive payment for their donations according to the Human Rights and Youth Authority (HFEA), a donor can receive a maximum of £35 ( 3,480) for each hospital visit. The order has also decreed that a person’s sperm donation can be distributed to a maximum of 10 families, while no limit is set to the number of children of each family.
