DeSantis’ New Hampshire conference takes an unexpected turn, is there a conspiracy? | World news
In a surprising turn of events at a campaign rally in New Hampshire, Ron DeSantis, Florida Governor and potential 2024 presidential candidate, found himself facing a heckler with serious accusations. The incident, caught on camera and shared on Twitter by reporter Heather Mullins, revealed how the woman said DeSantis’ office failed to address her son’s murder, allegedly participating in a cover-up.
While the specifics of the alleged murder veil are not heard in the video clip, the woman’s continuous cries of “five years” drew attention. The clip also captures the woman casually dropping her DeSantis hat, replacing it with a hat supporting former President Donald Trump as she walks away.
Mullins, who made light of the incident, tweeted, “The woman stopped Ron DeSantis, said his son’s murder was covered up in Florida, and his office abandoned him! He threw his DeSantis hat on the ground, and said that he’s going to put a real one on, and pull out the Trump hat.”
When asked about the two hats, Mullins replied, “Apparently DeSantis only wore one to get in the event so he could get a message about his murdered son to the Governor. He was murdered in Florida and he tried to contact your office. have a document with all the information to give them.”
Despite the interruption, Ron DeSantis continued his campaign speech once the woman was taken away by security. In a fiery opening, he vowed to send President Joe Biden “back to his home base in Delaware” and took a jab at Biden’s recent fall during a graduation ceremony in Colorado Springs.
“I don’t know if he sustained injuries, but I just want to say, we hope and wish Joe Biden a speedy recovery from any injuries he may have sustained,” DeSantis said. “But we also want the United States of America to recover quickly from the injuries it has endured because of Joe Biden and his policies,” he added, drawing cheers from the crowd.
As the incident unfolded, some social media users speculated about the presence of a sandbag on the stage during the handover, disproving any theories of foul play. Meanwhile, this event in New Hampshire is not the first time that DeSantis has faced obstacles during his speeches in the state.
