Egbe Obaneye Obinrin To Mark One Year Anniversary With Conferment of Titles On New Chiefs

The Egbe Obaneye Obinrin Akile Ijebu official recognition and royal blessings by the Paramount ruler and Awujale of Ijebuland, Oba Sikiru Kayode Adetona, and one year anniversary on Monday, July 3, 2023 would be commemorated with a number of programmes, starting from the commissioning of some key projects.

During the few days-long ceremonies, the leadership of the group will be embarking on empowerment schemes in fullfillment of the promises made at the inception of the age-group.

Highlight of the ceremony is the conferment of chieftaincy titles on some outstanding members of the socio-cultural group.

Those to be honoured with the new titles at the one year anniversary and fund raising ceremony are Chief (Mrs) Gbadebo Olusola Aroyewun, the new (Yeye Obaneye), Chief (Mrs) Odeneye Eniola (Mayegun) as well as Chief (Mrs) Osinusi Fausat Abolere (Yeye Tayese) respectively.

According to the programme of event, the Ebi Idena of Sebu II, Iperu Remo, Oba Lukman Adebambo Salami, will be the Royal Father of the day, while Yeye Folakemi Kuye, Yeye Bobajoko of Erunwon Kingdom who doubles as Iya Egbe Obaneye Obinrin Akile Ijebu will serve as the mother of the day.

The event has been scheduled for the upscale AM TO PM Event Hall, off Molipa Expressway, Ijebu-Ode.

The fast-rising female age-group, tipped as the toast of many is headed by Iyalode Oyindamola Okebunmi, while Chief (Amb) Ayoola Fehintola-Brat, a United States based Naval officer is the Balogun Egbe.
