Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk, who is ready to be the next owner of Twitter, said on Tuesday that he had spoken to Kanye West about the singer’s tweet recently.
“Talked with you today and you expressed my concerns about your recent tweet, which I think you took to heart,” Elon Musk tweeted. Elon Musk referred to a tweet by Kanye West about Jewish people which was removed by the social media platform last week. Following an angry tweet, Twitter banned Kanye West for violating its rules. Kanye West has returned to the platform a day before the controversial tweet for the first time in two years.
Kanye West last posted on Twitter in November 2020 shortly after the last US presidential election.

The singer and songwriter returned to Twitter after being banned on his Instagram account for violating the platform’s rules and regulations as some groups called his posts ‘anti-Semitic’.
In his first tweet, Kanye West has sent a picture, where he is seen with Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg who captioned it as “Look at this Mark. How he kicked me out of Instagram.”
Elon Musk, who is set to buy Twitter, has said he will prioritize free speech on the platform. The billionaire has also criticized Twitter’s decision to ban people like former President Donald Trump.
