Eredo LCDA Chairman in Lagos state, Hon Adeniyi Saliu on Monday described a famous grassroot politician, Alhaji Akanni Seriki Bamu as a role model per excellence whose selfless service has better the lot of people in the state
Saliu gave the description in his congratulatory message to the elder-statesman as he turned 80.
The council helmsman commended the octogenarian for his charismatic and visionary leadership which has earned him an unblemished status among others in the country.
In his own words, Saliu said, “I wish our respected, charismatic and selfless leader, Alhaji Akanni Seriki (BAMU), the APC Lagos East Senatorial/Epe Divisional Leader a Happy 80th Birthday.
Your contributions to Epe Division, Lagos East and Lagos State at large including our personal lives are immeasurable.
At 80, I pray to Almighty Allah to grant you long life, sound health and divine wisdom to continue impacting lives positively.”
Saliu however charged politicians especially the youth to emulate the sterling qualities of the octogenarian, in order to have a better tomorrow.
