Exclusive: Man alleges CAC Pastor of trafficking 20-yr old daughter to Libya in Ogun

A middle-aged man from Itele-Ijebu in Ijebu East Local Government area of Ogun state, Elder Durojaiye Samuel has raised the alarm over the sudden disappearance of her daughter from her institution of study.

Gateway Times Nigeria exclusively gathered that Elder Samuel’s daughter, simply identified as Miss Tolulope Durojaiye, an ND 2 Marketing student of Saapade Polytechnic, an Ogun State owned institution, was declared missing few months ago only to now be traced to far away Libya.

In an exclusive interview with Gateway Times Nigeria on Thursday, May 18, 2023, Elder Samuel revealed that her daughter was initially posted to Ijebu Ode local government for her SIWESS, a three months internship programme.

He explained that, “Since I could not afford the daily cost of transport fare from where the family lives in Ijebu-Ife, I agreed with her mother that she should stay with elder sister in Ijebu Ode. It was during this time she started worshipping at a church in Ijebu Ode presided over by one Prophet Promise Samson”.

Further findings disclosed that the said church, Christ Apostolic Church, Mountain of Deliverance and Power, located at No 1, Ganiyu Oseni street, off Molipa Expressroad, behind Oba Palace in Molipa area of the town was founded by Prophet Promise Samson.

Elder Durojaiye said during a painstaking search for his daughter, the daughter actually confessed to her elder brother that she was in Kano enroute Libya at the instance of Prophet Samson.

This new discovery forced the parent to report the case to the National Agency for Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons and Other Related Matters (NAPTIP) office in Ikeja, Lagos.

According to a reliable source at the NAPTIP office, the said Prophet alleged of masterminding the disappearance of the lady was arrested and thereafter granted bail on March 26, on the condition that the lady reported to be in her mid-20s should be returned to her parent.

Gateway Times Nigeria reports that the suspect had. since remained evasive, bragging that nothing will come out of the case.

When contacted on Thursday, May 18, 2023, the two official phone lines of the Pastor were switched off.

Investigation however revealed that his phones had been submitted with the NAPTIP office in Lagos, as he was given 3 weeks to provide the missing student. The deadline given to the Pastor lapses tomorrow, Friday, May 19, 2023.
