The Chairman of Ijebu East Local Government, Hon. Oyesanya Adetutu Elizabeth, has laid the foundation stone of Ajebandele J4 primary healthcare centre in Ajebamidele ward, of ljebu East Local Government Area.
The Council’s Consultant on Health in his opening remarks thanked the state governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, for the support to the Chairman, the administration and the good people of Area J4 for the construction of the health facility.
In her welcome speech, Hon. Oyesanya Adetutu Elizabeth, stated that the facility, when completed, will not only cater for the people of Area J4, but also for other neighbouring communities like Orisunbare, Jegbende and about eight other communities who hitherto lacked health care facility.
Oyesanya also thanked the Governor, Commissioner for Health, the entire cabinet members, Councillors, party stalwarts and community leaders for their unwavering support. According to the Chairman, the project would be delivered in the stipulated time of three months to serve the people effectively.
Speaking at the ground breaking ceremony of the facility at Area J4, the, the Commissioner for Health ably represented by the Executive Secretary at the Ministry, Dr Olusola, elogized the Chairman for the effort at making sure the facility is provided, he stated further that the Chairman will get all the needed support from the ministry as “she has demonstrated commitment to the medical wellbeing of the people of Ajebamidele ward in particular and Ijebu East local government in general”
Delivering his good will message, a party leader and member of the Governor’s Elders’ Council, Otunba Johnson Ogundeko, appreciated the Ogun State Governor, for his kind gesture, his records and efforts aimed at turning lives around during the recent free medical surgery operations across the state and the opportunity which allowed the good people of Ijebu East to benefit from the gesture.
Otunba Ogundeko also thanked the chairman, Hon. Oyesanya for delivering dividends of democracy to her people.
The Senior Consultant on Media to Ogun State Governor on Media, Comrade Tunde Oladunjoye, performed the first block-laying ceremony, followed by the community leader, Pa Ikuyinminu, Executive Secretary at the Ministry of Health, Dr. Ogunsola, who represented the Commissioner for Health, Dr. Tomi Coker and the Council Chairman, Hon. Oyesanya Adetutu Elizabeth.
The foundation laying ceremony event was graced by dignitaries including government officials, party leaders including Otunba Timothy Ogunbowale, Hon. Bola Badejo, Chief Gbenga Adesanya, Alhaja Risikat Adenokun, Pa Ikuyinminu, Hon. Mrs Sangonuga, Alhaja Agoro Akinlagun, Head of the Local Government Administration, Dr. Mayomi Oyedele, Ijebu East legislators, cabinet members and other community leaders.
