National Youth Council of Nigeria, Ijebu East Local Government Chapter, on Tuesday paid a solidarity visit to the Ag. Chairman, Ijebu East Local Government, Hon. ADETUTU Elizabeth Oyesanya, at her office.
The Youth Council President and other members of his team expressed their support and readiness to partner with the government to chart a new course and make development easy for the Local Government and her people, especially the Youth.
They also called for transparency in running the affairs of the Local Government and mutual understanding to get the confidence of the electorate and give back to the society as part of the promise of the present administration to improve the living standards of the people of Ijebu East Local Government.
The Acting Chairman, in her response, thanked them for the visit while promising not to fail the people or disappoint them. She pledged to continue to uphold the principle of fairness, transparency and equity in the discharge of her duties.
She asked for their continued support and prayers at all times for a fruitful delivery of the dividend of democracy as envisaged by the Prince Dapo Abiodun Administration in the State.
