The new President of the Ijebu Ode Club, Adegbega Ogunba has promised to reposition the renowned association as he assures on keeping to its electoral promise and moving the Club to greater heights in the new Club season.

Thanking members of the premier Club for their trust and faith in electing him as well other newly elected officers, he acknowledged the remarkable and delightful initiatives that were undertaken by the Trustees, elders and past leaders of the Club who he described as great inspiration having laid the roadmap for a formidable association which has stood the test of time and keep waxing stronger.

In his words: “I sincerely accept this important role as President of the Ijebu Ode Club for the new session together with the strong support of my new team members and committee members to be put in place”.

He then appealed to distinguished members of the Club to stay united in the collective resolve to move the association forward urging that he cannot go through the journey alone without the support, constructive criticism and encouragements.

Extending hands of fellowship to those who contested for various positions during the election the erudite Lawyer urged then to put the development behind them and come out stronger than ever. Said he: “We are all winners in this realm and I am of the belief that this journey will not be a smooth one if I am to walk it alone. I want us to take this familiar route together, work in synergy and make sure that our set goals are achieved”.
