‘I’m really surprised…,’ Trump scolded Harry for the invitation to the Coronation | World news
Former US President and businessman Donald Trump has expressed surprise that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were invited to the Coronation of King Charles after the claims made in his “horrific” book Spare, calling them “very disrespectful”.
The comments came after Harry released his memoir, Spare, which contained bombshell and revelations about the royal family.
The 45th US president described Harry’s passing as “terrible” and said he was surprised Harry had been invited to the ceremonies on Saturday, May 6, 2023.
“I’m really surprised Harry was invited to be honest,” he said.
The former president went on to criticize Meghan, saying she had “been very disrespectful” to the late Queen Elizabeth II, whom he described as “amazing” and “never controversial” throughout her decade-long career.
In a recent interview with GB News, Trump said, “I think so [Meghan] has been very disrespectful to the queen,” adding “How can you be disrespectful to the queen? It’s amazing, for decades and decades he’s never been wrong. I can’t think of a single mistake he made, he never made an argument. “
Trump took another page that despite his thoughts on Harry and Meghan, he believes the Coronation will be a “great day” and that King Charles and Queen Camilla “will do a great job”.
This is not the first time that the former US president has criticized Harry and Meghan. Last year, she predicted that their marriage would “end badly”, and called Harry a “disgrace” and a “whipped man”. She also criticized Harry for not attending Prince Philip’s memorial, calling it “horrible”.
In the meantime, Harry has been accused of fighting with his brother Prince William, and having an affair with his mother-in-law, Queen Camilla. The memoir caused controversy within the royal family, with some members said to be angry about the details it revealed.
Despite all these controversies, Harry has confirmed that he will attend his father’s Coronation, while Meghan will be in California to celebrate Archie’s fourth birthday.
The coronation will be Harry’s first public appearance with Charles, Camilla, William, and Kate since Spare’s release. The royal family recently gathered to practice their skills for a Westminster Abbey performance.
