Iran killed two men over an attack on a mosque that killed at least 13 people in October. The Islamic State claimed the attack. Iranian state media reported that the two were hanged in the morning in the southern city of Shiraz.
During the investigation the men said they had ties with the Islamic State in Afghanistan and helped organize the attack on the Shah Cheragh shrine in Shiraz.
