The All Progressives Congress (APC) Campaign Council for Ijebu Ode local government will on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, formally commence its ward-to-ward campaign activities for the party’s candidates participating in the November 16 Council’s election
According to a statement by the Head of Media and Publicity, Dare Alebiosu Campaign Organisation, Baa’royin Dayo Rufai, the event which promises to be an extended one has been scheduled for Itoro, the headquarter of the LG.
The APC Chairmanship candidate, Hon Damilare Sikiru Alebiosu, prominently known around town as Dre, as well all the Councillorship candidates in the local government area will thereafter embark on a ward-to-ward campaign in order to table their manifestoes before the people and also seek their support for the forthcoming elections.
The statement added the ward-to-ward tour will afford the party the opportunity to meet one on one with the people at the grassroots level so that they will be better informed and be acquainted with the programmes and vision of the APC candidates.
