The June edition of the monthly environmental sanitation in Ogun State will hold on Saturday, June 29, 2019.
A release signed by the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Environment, Tpl Yetunde Dina indicated that the exercise would hold between 7 am and 10 am across the 20 Local Government Areas of the State.
It added that, there would be full restriction of movement within the period, enjoining members of the public to comply with the order, as violators of the State Environmental Law would be duly prosecuted.
Residents are equally advised to clear clogged silts in their drainage channels and overgrown weeds around their premises.
Government therefore solicited for the continuous support of Law Enforcement Agencies and the general public in her efforts at promoting a clean, safe and healthy environment.
