The book contains a letter from King Charles sent to Donald Trump in 1995, The Daily Telegraph reported. This comes as the former US president has said that people who write letters to him use “sweet language”.

“I know them all—and they’ve all kissed my ass, and now I’m only half of them kissing my ass,” Donald Trump has said.

King Charles sent a letter in 1995 thanking Donald Trump for giving him honorary membership at Mar-a-Lago in Florida, the report said. Although the content may not be controversial but the move will not be appreciated by the royal family as Donald Trump has made claims against Princess Diana and Kate Middleton even before.

In the weeks after Princess Diana died in a 1997 car accident, Donald Trump was asked during a radio interview, “Why do people think it’s presumptuous for you to say you might have gotten along with Lady Become? You can get it, right? You might just know it.”

The former president said then, “I think I might have.”

Selina Scott, a friend of Diana wrote in The Sunday Times in 2015 that Donald Trump sent Diana flowers and “She’s starting to feel as if Trump is stalking her.”

The letters to Trump include a note from Princess Diana in which she refers to him as “Donald” and thanks him for the flowers saying, “They are really nice, and I am deeply touched that you have think of me in this special way. “

In 2012, Donald Trump tweeted, “Kate Middleton is great – but she shouldn’t be sunbathing in the nude – you only have yourself to blame. Who wouldn’t take Kate’s picture and make a lot of money if she did the naked sun thing?” . Find Kate!”

In a royal biography ‘The King: The Life of Charles III’ by Christopher Anderson, he notes, “Trump’s criticism of Kate is the result of what a Clarence House warden referred to as “flows of royalism” from the Prince Charles and his children. “
