A new age-group otherwise known as Regberegbe in Ijebuland will on Sunday, November 24, 2019 stage its first official outing in line with the dictate of the paramount ruler and Awujale of Ijebuland, Oba Sikiru Kayode Adetona.
The age-group which comprises of youths born within the age bracket of 1983 and 1985 started the recruitment drive of those who traditionally fall with the Regberegbe few years back.
The event which is planned to be a landmark one is slated for Rolaks Hotel & Suites, Ijebu Ode.
Gateway Times information has it that the group is presently led by Arole Seye Yusuf, a Lagos based tax expert and son of Otunba Austin Yusuf, the Giwa Egbe Bobagunte Okunrin Akile Ijebu who equally doubles as Otunba Bobaselu of Ijebuland.
Other prominent members of the age-group include Alh Yusuf Oduwole, a construction Engineer and Agric consultant, Otunba Saheed Tobun, Titi Gafar of Stanbic IBTC, Amoo Wande, Sadiq Lasisi, younger brother of Giwa Obayori Kuye, Alh Suraj Lasisi, Barr Fatai Oyedele, Ramoni Oladele, Atobatele Abass, Seun Oretuga, a former House of Assembly Candidate in Ijebu North East LG, Kazeem Kuku, CEO of Kasnoi Luxury Homes Lekki, Lagos, Sulaimon Kunle Awolaja, Femi Okusi, Yemi Badmus, Mr Kayode Oduselu and a host of others.
It was further gathered that Alhaji Kunle Otubu, the Oloroogun Egbe Bobagunte Okunrin Akile Ijebu will be the Guest Speaker at the event while Opeyemi Oduwole, a financial expert and Balogun Egbe Bobayegun Asiwaju will be the Chairman of the inaugural outing of the new age-group.
