OGHA Minority Leader, Adeleye Hails Gov Abiodun’s Infrastructural Devt At Sikiru Adetona College of Education

The Minority Leader in the Ogun State House of Assembly, Hon. Lukman Adeleye, has commended the Prince Dapo Abiodun led-administration for giving necessary attention and support to the Management of Sikiru Adetona College of Education, Omu Ijebu which led to the infrastructural turn around and increased enrolment into the institution.
The lawmaker gave the commendation while speaking under personal explanation at the plenary presided over by Speaker Oludaisi Elemide at the Assembly Complex, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta, on Friday.
He noted that as a responsible opposition, he had once criticised the policy of the past administration about the school, which led to its near collapse.
The lawmaker said that the institution, which was cited in his constituency, had continued to make great progress in the running of its academic programmes and the development of Infrastructure through the support of the State government and the innovative leadership of the management led by the Provost of the College, Dr. Adeola Kiadese.
Meanwhile  the Assembly has constituted its Fund Management Committee preparatory to the implementation of financial autonomy of the State legislature.
In another development, the State lawmakers have equally observed a minute silence in honour of a former lawmaker, who was also at one time Commissioner for Forestry in the State, Hon. Falilu Sabitu, in response to the presentation of a member representing Ogun Waterside State Constituency, Hon. Samsideen Lawal, who reported the death of the late Sabitu at the plenary.
