After several disagreement and lingering insinuations, the Progressive Youth of Ogun state have finally back Dapo Abiodun Youth End of the Year Party, lecture and empowerment. The annual programme is expected to create a mixing link, chart a new Course and start a conversation with the youth towards having a united, purposely driven youth movement in Ogun state.
Arriving from a reconciliation meeting in Abeokuta today, the continuation of the yesterday peace meeting initiated by Hon Ayo Olubori, Chief Yemi Sanusi, APC State Chairman and other stakeholders in the state, the Progressive Youth Leaders had reiterated fellowship and assured that, all lingering issues and differences has been sorted.
The Youth End Of The Year Party/Empowerment is scheduled to hold on 22nd December, 2023, lecture titled, The Role Of Youth In Achieving Sustainable Peace and Development in Ogun State.
Speaking at the meeting, the Youth Leaders stressed the importance of collaboration and working together for the success of the event, doing so, will further strengthen the bond of the youth in the state devoid of crisis and sidelines. “Our intention was to enforce inclusiveness and not to cause stir or crisis which the organizers have shown their progressive inwardness to accommodate.
We fall together to rise and we have come together on common grounds. Ogun youth aren’t threaten by any course, we are indivisible and United by purpose. We however urged relevant stakeholders and members of the public to rally behind the Youth initiated programme, as we are about to witness Mother of all Youth Conversation.
