Ogun State Bureau of Lands and Survey has put necessary machineries in motion towards providing adequate infrastructure for improved land services, seamless and affordable, to enhance professional services in year 2020.
Special Adviser to Governor on Lands, Mr. Aina Salami, stated this in Abeokuta, during the New Year address to the staff of the agency in Abeokuta, assuring the public of smooth operational review of land services and procedures, particularly title documents, which he said, was the only internationally acceptable means of land ownership and authorization.
He reiterated the agency’s commitment in creating awareness on the importance of processing land titles, assuring that government would look inward to fast track the processes and work on outstanding files, to ensure prompt completion and allocation of titles, as well as check land speculation and grabbing, in line with provisions of the law.
Salami noted that the Bureau would strive to realise its targeted N35b naira Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) for 2020.
