Ogun CJ Charges NBA To Bequeath Exceptional Legacy

The Ogun State Chief Judge, Hon. Justice Mosunmola Dipeolu has charged members of the Nigeria Bar Association (NBA), to be cautious of the kind of legacy to bequeath the bar, as such action would certainly outlive them.

Justice Dipeolu gave this charge at the Valedictory Court Sitting, in honour of late Hon. Justice Albert Gbadebo Oduyemi, held at the Ceremonial Court Room, High Court, Isabo, Abeokuta.

She described the late Justice as an incorruptible and upright Jurist, who during his time, delivered justice with utmost sound intellect and exemplary character, saying the State had lost an illustrious and dependable legal icon, whose wealth of experience would be highly missed by the bar and the bench in Ogun State and Nigeria.

In her submission, the Ogun State Solicitor-General and Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Justice, Mrs. Yetunde Oresanya, described  Late Hon. Justice Oduyemi, as an intelligent and loyal Jurist, with capacity for‎analytical details, adding that his ability to voice out his opinion, irrespective of the personality involved, was worthy of emulation.

Chief Afolabi Fashanu, while speaking on behalf of the body of Senior Advocates of Nigeria, said the Valedictory Court Sitting was a testimony that the Jurist contributed meaningfully to his profession.
