Senator Lekan Mustapha, the Senator-elect, Ogun East senatorial district in the state has felicitated with the Awujale of Ijebuland, Oba Sikiru Adetona on his 85th birthday.
The Senator described the Awujale as a revered monarch, who is passionate about the welfare of his subjects, progress of Ijebuland, Ogun State and the country at large.
Appreciating Awujale for piloting the affairs of Ijebuland successfully, he acknowledged his peaceful 59-years reign on the throne as well as his relentless efforts at sustaining unity among traditional rulers throughout Ijebuland and Ogun state.
“His Royal Highness, Oba Sikiru Adetona has exhibited all the sterling virtues of a worthy royal father, as he remains an umbrella for his sons and daughters beyond Ijebuland. Baba is passionate about the growth and development of Ijebuland and the state.
“We wish him a successful birthday celebration, and we pray God to grant him good health and great wisdom” Mustapha added.
