Some years back when the news of the construction of Ijebu Igbo Heritage Center which would house the Oba Orimolusi Palace occupied the space, the news came like the usual political gimmick.
Many residents of Ijebu Igbo took the news with a pinch of salt. A lot of people were wondering how a Lawmaker who does not have an Executive power would build an edifice such as a Palace.
Impossible, Impossibility were some of the grammer coming out from many doubting Thomases. The few people who understand the definition of ATTACKER kept calm, upheld faith knowing fully the weight, ability and capability of the Aremo Ebumawe to deliver.
Today, the good people of the ancient city of Ijebu Igbo are singing new song as a fresh history has just being recorded. A brand new and magnificent Orimolusi Palace has been delivered courtesy of Rt Hon. Adesegun Abdle-majid Adekoya (ATTACKER), the Deputy Minority Whip of the House of Representatives ( 9th National Assembly).
The joy of His Royal Highness Oba Lawrence Jaiyeola Adebajo, the Orimolusi of Ijebu Igbo kingdom will surely be unlimited, the Kaabiesi happiness will be lifetime and unending.
From the available records and in the entire Yoruba Land, only Orimolusi Palace Ijebu Igbo is solely built with resources coming from the Federal Government has facilitated by Aremo Adesegun Adekoya.
Little wonder, when His Royal Highness Oba Lawrence Jaiyeola Adebajo and the Orimolusi in Council came together to honour, appreciate and crown Aremo Adesegun Adekoya as the First BOBASUWA of Ijebu Igbo Kingdom.
The new Orimolusi Palace is a world class and monumental edifice. A two-storey building featured with fully air-conditioned all suite rooms, elevator, conference room, events hall, Orimolusi Office, staff room, waiting rooms, Orimolusi car park, spacious parking space etc.
Aremo Adesegun Adekoya, the BOBASUWA of Ijebu Igbo like the late Chief MKO Abiola and Otunba (Senator) Gbenga Daniel (OGD) has a long list of chieftaincy tittles coming from different towns and cities far/near. I didn’t have much ink and time to start listing ATTACKER’s previous Chieftaincy Titles.
Aremo Abdel-Majid Adesegun Adekoya is the Aarẹ Opomulero of Lagos, Otunba Aladé’réfe of Ijebu-Ife, Otunba Gbadegoroye, of Isara-Remo, Otunba Ṣikẹade of Iṣọnyin-Ijebu, Otunba Gbọbaniyi of Imasayi-Yewa, Saraki Adinnin of Ago-Iwoye Muslim, Balogun Oloja-Ijebu General, and the Aremo Ebumawe of Ago-Iwoye and many more.
Aremo Adesegun Adekoya ATTACKER is a very wonderful grassroot politician, a veteran democrat, royal celebrity, uncommon achiever, and a superlative highest goals scorer. Aremo Adekoya is a “talk and do” politician.
Aremo Adekoya political experiences cut across the Local, State and Federal government levels. He was Elected Honourable Councillor, Ward F2, Somolu Local Government, Vice Chairman, Somolu Local Government, Somolu, Lagos, the First elected Chairman of Kosofe Local Government, Kosofe, in Lagos State where he emerged as the Best Local Government Chairman in Lagos State.
Aremo Adekoya also served as Full-Time Commissioner 1, Local Government Service Commission, Honourable Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs and Honourable Commissioner for Works all in Ogun State under Otunba Gbenga Daniel (OGD) administration.
Aremo Adesegun Adekoya was appointed Personal Assistance to the late Senator Jubril Martins Kuye as the then Honourable Minister of Finance (State) under the regime of Chief Olusegun Obasanjo as Nigeria President.
Aremo Adekoya, the BOBASUWA of Ijebu-Igbo was later elected as a member of the Green Chamber of the National Assembly on two occasions where he represented Ijebu-North/Ijebu-East/Ogun Waterside Federal Constituecy, rose to the level of a Principal Officer in the position of the Deputy Minority Whip of the House of Representatives of the 9th National Assembly.
Aremo Adekoya as a Principal Officer of the National Assembly scored many wonderful goals. He has to his credit many landmark achievements and legacy projects that are too numerous to mention here.

Arẹmọ Adesegun Adekoya like the late Sage, Chief Obafemi Awolowo has taught us the essence of good governance and the importance of creating indelible impacts in the lives of people when given an opportunity to serve. Surely, the legacies of Arẹmọ Adekoya will exist till eternity like those of Baba Awolowo of blessed memory.
There are many stars in the sky but only one moon. There are many animals in the forest, but Elephant is unique. Many animals exist, but the Zebra is the most beautiful. All Pilots can drive, but not all drivers can pilot an aircraft. Many birds fly around, but the strength and boldness of the Eagle are incomparable.
There are many politicians around who daily struggle to be like ATTACKER, but unfortunately, their efforts remain unnoticeable.
