Pay Ogun Workers Their Outstanding Salaries Before Leaving Office, NLC Tells Amosun
The Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC Ogun State chapter, has asked the Amosun led government to pay workers in the state their outstanding salaries before leaving office on May 28, 2019.
The State chairman, Comrade Emmanuel Bankole stated this in an interview with news men on Thursday in Abeokuta, Ogun State stressing that the Governor has not lived up to his promises on salary matters.
He debunked the report in some quarters that the Ogun State government has paid some of its worker their outstanding salaries.
”Governor Amosun has not paid any of its workers, we want to urge him to live up to his promises and pay Ogun workers their dues before the current government vaccates office by the end of the month’:
”It is a mere rumour that that the state government has paid mapoly, TASUED and OOU workers”
He therefore charged on the governor not to owe any workers before he leaves office
