Reps Deputy Minority Whip, Adekoya Commiserates With Kashamu Over Mum’s Death
The Deputy Minority Whip of House of Representatives , Hon. Adesegun Abdelmajid Adekoya, has commiserated with immediate past Senator representing Ogun East senatorial district in the National Assembly, Senator Buruji Kashamu, over the passing on of his mother, Alhaja Wulemotu Kashamu, who died at the age of 96.
Adekoya , in a condolence message issued by his Legislative Aide, Tayo N.O.K-Rufai and made available to Gateway Times last night, expressed utter shock at the death of Alhaja Kashamu , saying the death of a mother was one of the saddest events in the life of children.
As a care-giver and character moulder, the lawmaker said a mother’s place in the lives of her children could not be compared to anything else.
“Losing somebody dear to us like a mother can be difficult. I know how it feels because I have been through that way, having lost my mother.
“We must be consoled by the memories of the time they spent with us. Alhaja Kashamu is a woman of substance who lived a life of service to humanity,” Adekoya added.
He prays that Almighty Allah will grant Alhaja Kashamu a well deserved rest from her earthly labours and give the family the strength to endure this period.
