Ogun State governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun has reacted to the insinuations that he had no plans to constitute transition committee that will enhance smooth take over of the incoming government of Prince Dapo Abiodun saying that his transistion had been put in place since December 2018.
Gov Amosun said he is ready to hand over keys to the government house and the presidential lodge if the governor elect is ready to move into the government house tomorrow.
Represented by the secretary to the state government, Barrister Taiwo Adeoluwa, Amosun disclosed this when his transition committee met with his Abiodun’s delegation led by the Deputy Governor elect, Naimot Salako-Oyedele at the governor’s office, Okemosan,
”Government house, Oke Igbehin is ready if you want to move in tomorrow both the presidential lodge and government house are ready. as soon as you tell us when you need the keys, we will make them”
Amosun promised that his government will bequeath disorder on his successor, promising a seemless transition ahead of May 29.
”We will be in position to hand over comprehensive hand over note to you on May 28, 2019, you don’t have to be jn hurry”
By God’s grace, 28 of may 2019, we can sit down like this and hand over to you, we have not been sleeping so have to have the smooth running of the transition
