‘Those who killed my father betrayed Nigerians’ -MKO Abiola’s Son, AbdulMumuni

Abdulmumuni Abiola, one of the sons of the late Moshood Kashimawo Abiola said those who were responsible for the death of his father betrayed the people, adding that a lot of Nigerians were not happy about the death of his father.

He also thanked President Muhammadu Buhari for signing June 12 into bill to remember his father.

Abiola disclosed while featuring on ”Nigeria celebrates Democracy Day” on Television Continental , TVC and monitored by Gateway Times on Wednesday.

”People should stop talking about those who betrayed my father, it is not about Abiola alone but millions of Nigerians, I don’t think my father was betrayed but the people because on the election day about 14million Nigerians cane out on the election day and casted their votes”

”My father was at the forefront while a lot of people were behind him, I happy today that for the first time we are celebrating June 12 as democracy day, this is to tell you that we are now having new Nigeria in during Buhari’s administration”

”I want to advise president Muhammadu Buhari to try as much as possible to look into some of my father’s manifestoes such as poverty eradication, free medical health and free education”

He therefore called on the federal government to rekindled the spirit of Nigerians by coming up with the ideas of his father
