In a vibrant display of culture, unity, and hospitality, Honorable Ademorin Aliu Kuye, a distinguished member of the Nigerian Federal House of Representatives, opened the doors of his family home in Ijebu to host a memorable Ileya and Ojude Oba celebration attended by dignitaries, friends, and well-wishers.
A seasoned legal practitioner and politician who has represented the Shomolu Federal Constituency since 2015, Hon. Kuye used the festive occasion to honor both his faith and his deep cultural roots. The celebrations, held in the heart of his hometown in Ijebu, reflected his enduring connection to tradition and his status as a bridge between grassroots communities and national leadership.
Among the esteemed guests at the occasion were former Ogun State Governor and current Senator, Otunba Gbenga Daniel, Alhaji. Bashir Abiodun Akerele, Barr. Adeshina Adeoye and Hon. Kunle Ogunade, who joined Hon. Kuye and other prominent personalities in marking the Ileya (Eid-el-Kabir) and Ojude Oba festivals with grandeur and grace. Friends, political associates, traditional leaders, and community members gathered in a warm, familial setting that echoed the values of respect, unity, and celebration.
Ademorin Kuye’s dedication to service is evident not only in his political achievements having served as chairman and executive secretary of Shomolu Local Government, Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs in Lagos State, and Senior Special Adviser to the Minister of Labour, but also in his commitment to community and cultural heritage.
This year’s Ileya and Ojude Oba celebration was more than a festive gathering; it was a reaffirmation of Hon. Kuye’s role as a custodian of tradition, a unifier of people, and a public servant who understands the power of connection between past and present, people and leadership.
