Members of Ogun State transport Unions committee have reiterated their commitments to sanitize the motor parks in the State.
The committee members headed by Barr. Sunday Olufemi Adeniyi said this while holding their crucial meeting in Abeokuta on Tuesday.
The committee which was set up to discharge responsibilities to ventilate peace and harmony in the state promised to sensitize the motorists, Okada riders and Tricycle riders in all the parks in the state as directed by the Governor.
The 13-member committee highlighted some programmes that would bring peace and harmony among the union members some of which are as follows;
The commitee will educate and create awareness among the stakeholders in the transport sector on the special need to ensure peaceful conduct at all times and avoid any activities that could undermine peace, security and safety of lives and properties in the state.
The Committee would also work on the improved revenue potential of the road transport unions for enhanced internally Generated Revenue (IGR).
