A political group known as All Progressives Congress Dapo Abiodun Movement UK & Ireland has appealed to its teeming members to exercise patience with the Governor-elect of Ogun state, Prince Dapo Abiodun over their alleged exclusion from the Economic Transition Committee.
In a press statement jointly signed by the President and Secretary; Chief Maiyegun and Omo-Oba (Engr) Gbenga Olugbile respectively and made available to newsmen, the group stated that its members exclusion from the various committees recently constituted by the Governor-elect could have been an oversight.
The group was among the many others which worked tirelessly for the emergence of the new Governor in the state.
According to the statement, “The aggrieved members have the right to express their concern and at the same time, understand the position of the Governor-elect.
In as much as, we all worked for the success of the party, some are known directly to the Governor-elect and some are not known to him but work tirelessly to the success of our party.
We need to re-assure ourselves that the success belongs to all of us and we shall all benefit from this administration as promised by our Governor-elect”.
The group therefore call on its members to be more determined, resilience and focused as loyal party members in order to sustain internal democracy which the All Progressives Congress, APC is known for.
