2023: We ‘ll Mobilise 2million Votes For Tinubu- TPN Vows

A popular group known as Tinubu People’s Network, TPN, Ogun State chapter has vowed to mobilize over 2million votes in Ogun State for the presidential candidate under the platform of All Progressives Congress, APC, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu to ensure his victory at the polls.

 

The Chief cordinator of the group, Festus Adewale Opanuga disclosed this on Monday at APC Secretariat, Iyana Motuary, Abeokuta, Ogun State.

The event which is the first state meeting, was held with the swearing in of the new Executives and Coordinators of the group.

Opanuga in his remarks maintained that as a formidable support group, TPN is sure of garnering over 2milliion votes for Tinubu

He informed that Tinubu has paid his due in the democratic struggle in Nigeria, therefore, this is the time Nigerians should reciprocate, pay him back.

Opanuga said ”We will canvass, solicit and we also will mobilize people to vote Asiwaju in the coming presidential elections, and we are sure of 2 million votes from all over Ogun State to soar to victory”

” We shall go through the length and breadth of the state to mobilize support for Tinubu to fulfill the decision of the Southern people that the Presidency must come to the South.

“Tinubu was amongst few Nigerians that fought vigorous to restore democracy in Nigeria which some persons are enjoying today. In clear terms, his effort should be rewarded” he concluded

The chief cordinator also submitted that the group will work for the victory of the Governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun to win his re-election bid in 2023.

He submitted that Dapo Abiodun has performed beyond the expectations of the residents of the State, saying that he deserves second term.

Meanwhile, the National Southwest Woman Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Princess Yetunde Adesanya, said “On Asiwaju Tinubu mandate we stand and rest assuredly TPN and all other Support groups are working hard to make sure APC wins all the elections in Ogun State and Nigeria as a whole.”

The event had in attendance political bigwigs from the ruling All Progressives Congress and members of the Tinubu People’s Network from all the 20 local governments of the state.
