An interest group under the aegis of Yayi Mobilisation Team, YAMOT is set to gather some Muslim and Christian clerics for the re-election bid of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the Ogun East Senatorial ambition of Prince Dapo Abiodun and more importantly, the Governorship ambition of Sen Solomon Adeola, prominently known in the Nigeria political circle as Yayi.
According to a statement by the new association, it will be honourable to seek the face of God and direction for the ambitions of the trio, through a special inter-religious prayer session to be witnessed stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress, APC as well as members of the larger society.
As planned, the lecture with the theme Virtues of a good leader in a democratically rewarding society especially in Yorubaland, as well as the prayer session will be anchored by Apostle Noah Oluwatoki, the General Overseer, Christ Apostolic Church, Alter of Grace, Oliworo, Ijebu-Ode.
The co-anchor of the lecture and prayer programme includes Sheik Mikhail Shile Rufai, the Chief Imam of Eruwon Central Mosque and Mufti of Ogun state Muslim community.
Hon Doc Samuel Adejare, will be the Chairman of the occasion while Olori Adebisi Olaotan Chairperson of the event. A former member of the House of Representatives, Hon Abudu Balogun is the Father of the Day, and Chief (Mrs) Ronke Kolade Carew is the Mother of the Day.
Highlight of the occasion will be the official decoration of Sen Solomon Adeola Yayi as the Grand Patron of the group.
The event is scheduled to hold at Rontex Event Centre, along Ibadan road in Ijebu-Ode.
