The Abiodun Isiaq Akinlade Beneficiaries Forum (AIABF) has endorsed a ranking lawmaker and member representing Yewa South/Ipokia federal constituency of Ogun State at the House of Representatives, Hon Abiodun Isiaq Akinlade for the governorship of Ogun State ahead of the 2027 elections.
The endorsement, announced by the group’s Executive Council and members both within Nigeria and in the diaspora, boosting growing political support for Akinlade’s bid.
In a statement made available by the Publicity Secretary, Naheemat Adesola, and jointly signed by Omotosho O. Kazeem, an Assistant Chief Executive Officer at the National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure, (NASENI) and Chairman of the forum, as well as Ogunyale Lateefat Titilope of the Raw Materials Research and Development Council, who serves as Secretary, the group described Akinlade as a leader with proven integrity, vision, and commitment to development.
The forum noted that his leadership style has consistently prioritized youth welfare, professionalism, and institutional growth, earning him widespread respect and confidence among youths in Ogun State and across Nigeria.
The beneficiaries said Akinlade’s record in public service demonstrates the qualities needed to lead the state effectively, expressing confidence in his ability to deliver good governance and people-oriented policies if elected.
The group also highlighted his role in facilitating employment opportunities for thousands of youths through federal government initiatives, describing it as evidence of his dedication to empowerment and progress.
AIABF further called on stakeholders and opinion leaders across Ogun State to rally support for Akinlade’s governorship ambition, stating that his candidacy aligns with the aspirations of the people.
