The Primus Charity Foundation has successfully conducted its 2nd Annual Free Medical Outreach in Idimu and Ikorodu areas of Lagos State, providing critical healthcare support and relief materials to over 700 widows and vulnerable residents in the communities.

The outreach brought together healthcare professionals, volunteers, community leaders, partners, and beneficiaries in a united effort to improve access to healthcare services for underserved populations.

According to her, many individuals in low-income communities continue to suffer silently from preventable illnesses such as hypertension, diabetes, chronic pain, and emotional distress due to financial hardship and limited access to medical care.

“This outreach was created to bridge that gap,” she said. “At Primus Charity Foundation, we strongly believed that access to basic healthcare should not be a privilege reserved for a few.”

Meanwhile, beneficiaries received free medical consultations, blood pressure and blood sugar screening, counseling services, medications, health education, and referrals for advanced medical attention where necessary. Food items were also distributed to widows and vulnerable participants as part of the humanitarian support initiative.

Mrs. Tomori noted that this year’s edition reflects the growth and continuity of the foundation’s mission to serve humanity and restore hope within communities.

“What began as a vision to serve humanity is gradually becoming a movement of hope and impact,” she stated while expressing gratitude to the medical team, sponsors, volunteers, community leaders, and partners who contributed to the success of the outreach.

She also encouraged more organizations and well-meaning individuals to collaborate with the foundation in promoting healthier communities and expanding access to healthcare across Lagos State and beyond.

Beneficiaries at the event expressed appreciation to the foundation for the free healthcare services and support, describing the initiative as timely and impactful amid rising healthcare costs in the country.

The outreach concluded with renewed calls for stronger community partnerships aimed at improving public health and ensuring that vulnerable populations are not left behind.
