Let every candidate answer the questions that matter:
How will you create sustainable jobs?
How will you improve our roads and rural infrastructure?
How will you strengthen healthcare and education?
What is your plan for agriculture and food security?
How will you attract investment and grow revenue without overburdening citizens?
How will you improve security?
What opportunities will you create for young people, women and small businesses?
And how will you fund your promises and allow the people to measure your performance?
That is the debate Ogun deserves.
Let every candidate present the policies, timelines, funding plans and measurable targets behind their promises.
Enough of distractions. Put the manifesto on the table. Put the record on the table. Put the numbers on the table.
Let Ogun politics be about ideas, evidence, accountability and a clear programme for governance.
OGUN FIRST. POLICIES FIRST. PERFORMANCE MUST BE MEASURABLE. LET THE PEOPLE DECIDE.
