
The All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in Ogun State, Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, YAYI, has met with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, following the President’s return from vacation.
Senator Adeola took time away from his ongoing mobilisation and consultations for his governorship bid and the electoral success of other APC candidates to visit the President and discuss issues relating to Ogun State and the country.
During the meeting, YAYI expressed appreciation to President Tinubu for his continued support for Ogun State, particularly the landmark $7 billion Gateway Deep Sea Port and Ogun State Blue Marine Special Economic Zone project.
The Senator also discussed other matters of national importance with the President, including the ongoing implementation of the Renewed Hope Agenda and its impact on economic growth and development.
Senator Adeola expressed confidence in the direction of the country, noting that the reforms being implemented by the Tinubu administration are laying a solid foundation for sustainable growth, development and shared prosperity.
Also present at the meeting were the Chief of Staff to the President, Rt. Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila, CFR, and the Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
The meeting further underscored Senator Adeola’s commitment to strengthening cooperation between the Federal Government and Ogun State as he continues his consultations and mobilisation ahead of the 2027 general elections.
