Pandemonium As Cultists Raid, Kill 26 year-Old Man In Ogun
There was a pandemonium in Abule Lemode area of Ijoko, Ado-Odo Ota Local government as four suspected cultists disrupted a birthday party and killed a 26-year old man, Saibu Azeez.
Gateway times gathered the Ogun State police command have arrested the suspected cultists for allegedly killing the innocent man
The suspects: Opeyemi Olalekan, Azeez Ologundudu, Emmanuel Omoboriowo and Anigilaje Babatunde were arrested by men of Police command attached to Agbado Divisional headquarters in the state.
Police spokesman however said the commissioner of police, Bashir Makama, has ordered the transfer of the suspects to homicide section of the state Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department for discreet information.
The arrested suspects have all confessed to being members of a rival cult group.
“The Azeez’s body has been deposited in the morgue for postmortem examination,” he added.
Oyeyemi said Azeez died while receiving treatment.
According to him, preliminary investigation revealed that the deceased was likely to be a member of a rival cult group and that his assailants probably came on a reprisal attack.
The arrested suspects have all confessed to being members of a rival cult group.
