Learn From Your Predecessor’s Mistakes, Cleric Tells Ogun Gov

The Chief Missioner, TAOSAF, Islamic Foundation, Mustapha Taoheed Adeshina, has urged the Ogun State governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun to learn from the past administration and fix the loopholes, saying that he should not practice sectional government.

The cleric stated this while speaking during a Ramadan lecture tagged ”Prayer for the nation” held in Abeokuta, Ogun State.

According to him, Dapo Abiodun should see his administration as government of all, saying that he must embrace every section of the state in order to be successful.

”It is very important for you to govern with the fear of God and embrace every section of the State so your administration will be successful”

”I want to appeal to the Governor to take people’s advice, so his administration would go smoothly”

He advised the new government to learn from the past administration and look at its loopholes and fixed it for its own good.

He said “My advice for new Governor is to avoid divisional government. He should bring everybody together to the government.

“The Yewas, Egbas, Ijebus Remos, everybody should be brought together because a single person cannot be a government. When he brings everybody together and accept the advice of the people, I believe everything will go smoothly for him.

“The governor should look at the loopholes in the outgoing government and fixed it”.

“They should bring everybody together, including the sheiks, all the Islamic clerics too, we are sound and good too, he should take advice and I believe by doing so everything will go on well,” he stated.
