Police Arrest Two Men With Woman’s Skull In Ogun

The Ogun State police command has nabbed two persons with a human skull along Ijoun road in Eggua area of Ogun State.
The suspects, Emmanuel Aro, 25 and Anu Olofinju, 25 were arrested on Friday following a complaint by one Amoo Bankole who reported at the Eggua police station that the suspects were sighted digging at a cemetery where his mother was buried few months ago.
The Ogun State Police Public Relations Officer, Abimbola Oyeyemi disclosed this on Sunday in a release issued to news men in Abeokuta, Ogun State.
According to the release, based on the complaint of Amoo. The divisional Police Officer for Eggua divisions, Kehinde Oyekangun,mobilized detectives to the scene but met the suspects along the road.
Abimbola also added that Amoo told the police that with the digging of his mother’s grave , he believed the suspects were up to something evil
According to Command spokesman, when the detectives accosted them upon searching their bag, the skull of a woman was discovered inside the bag
He also explained further that when interrogated, the suspects confessed to the commission of the crime, admitting that they intended to use the skull for money making ritual.
Abimbola therefore disclosed that complainant had identified the skull as that of his late and buried mother.
Meanwhile, the commissioner of Police, Bashir Makama has given directive that the suspects should be transferred to state criminal investigation and intelligence department for further investigation.
