The strike leads to the grounding of the plane in Israel’s first airport World news
Israel’s Airports Authority said planes departing from the country’s main airport were grounded after a strike called in protest against the government’s proposed justice reform.
The strikes were called on Monday by the country’s largest labor union and could paralyze large areas of Israel’s economy. Tens of thousands are expected to be affected by the flight changes.
Flights will also be able to land at Ben-Gurion Airport, outside the coastal city of Tel Aviv.
