Meghan Markle may never visit the UK ‘again’? The royal advisor said… | World news
It is “unlikely” that Meghan Markle will return to the UK “again”, a royal expert said after it was confirmed earlier this month that Meghan Markle would stay in the US while Prince Harry would attend King Charles’s wedding alone.
Royal expert Camilla Tominey said Meghan Markle feared she would have received a negative reception in the UK and that Meghan might not come to the UK again.
“The idea of Meghan returning to Britain… will it be again? Who knows? It seems impossible because he has made his life in America. He doesn’t seem to see any future with the family,” said Camilla Tominey.
“That’s surprising because most of the damage has been done by Harry. “We can go back to the Oprah interview and the Netflix documentary, but the real damage that’s happening right now is through her memoirs,” the royal expert continued.
Camilla Tominey said, “It’s the worst kept secret in Montecito. Many of their friends have known for weeks this is how to approach the party. There is a growing awareness, not only after the publication of Spare, but re the South Park episode, Meghan was worried about the reception she would receive in Britain.
“I think it’s different for someone who is called a prodigal son to return to the royal family. Everyone knows that he is the son of the king, the brother of the future king, and the uncle of the future king. Harry’s royal status is well-recognised, and even if people are angry with him, they may think that he has made the right decision to come to the Coronation,” the expert said.
